We couldn't ask for anymore for our wedding reception. Swing Assembly did a great job of going over details. They even talked about things that usually happen at receptions. They have the talent to showcase a large spread of musical styles from our requirement of lindy-style swing to popular music at the end of the evening. They are very professional in their interactions with us, the staff of the reception hall, and our swing lesson instructors. Everyone at our wedding reception raved about the band and the band kept everyone on their feet the entire night. It was a great night and I would highly recommend this band to anyone!

WOW!! What a great band! The music was amazing and everyone had an incredible time. Not only did they perform for our wedding, they played piano for the ceremony and a jazz trio for cocktail hour. Even the staff at the hotel was impressed! Greg was always in contact with me and couldn't have been nicer. If you need to hire an unforgettable band, look no further!

Swing Assembly was AMAZING! No amount of words can provide my sincere gratitude for the remarkable performance by the band. Greg was a joy to work with. His attitude and willingness to accommodate made creating music that would inspire everyone to get up and dance/move around an easy task. I recommend Swing Assembly instead of a DJ any day! Swing assembly is an amazing band! Their sound was great and the dance floor was packed at all times. Many of our guests commented that this was the best wedding reception they had been to, the band played a very large part in this. I would rate them a 5 out of 5 down the line, they were very good and I had many people come forward and say that the band was terrific. I would hire them again for any event. (event = wedding)
Wedding Pastor before the prayer announced that he has been a pastor for over 20 years and this is the best wedding band he has heard.

These guys are awesome! From the moment I sent them an email, they kept in contact and were quick to respond to all my requests. They were amazing even before they actually performed at my wedding reception because the communication went so smooth. At the actual reception on July 10, 2010, they blew everyone away! All my guests kept saying they were the best band they had heard at a wedding. They were perfect! They played everything from swing to blues to disco to pop to the classics--outstanding. They made my night perfect and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I didn't have to do any of the work, Greg made everything go seamlessly.

Not only did the Swing Assembly turn up the class at our 20s-era New Year's Eve wedding, they also got our guests rocking out on the dance floor! These cats can really play! They sounded so great, and working with them was a complete pleasure. Greg is so accommodating—it didn't seem like there was anything they wouldn't do. From our first dance to our last dance, we could not have been more thrilled with the music at our wedding. It was the perfect accompaniment to the perfect night. Thanks, guys. You know how to wail!

Oh my goodness never in my wildest dreams did I think we could have had a band so wonderful! The talent, the look, the sound, the professionalism--all outstanding. The assortment of music just made the evening flow so smoothly and applealed to every age group from 90 years old down to age 11. If anyone is looking for a band to play at their event this it it! We used Swing Assembly for our daughter's wedding at Brookfield Zoo-it was a match made in heaven.

Swing Assembly was great! They played at my wedding on January 8, 2011 and my guests could not stop talking about how wonderful they were. They play a diverse set, the volume at which they played was perfect and they also acted as MC's at the reception. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who is looking for a band who can do it all.

Thanks so much to Swing Assembly for making our parents' 50th wedding anniversary party so special on July 30, 2010. Your talented band members and amazing vocalists blew everyone away with you jazz, blues, swing, and pop. The music was EXCEPTIONAL! Everyone had so much fun dancing to your music. Swing Assembly was very professional and talented! I love the music that they played that night and we had such a fun time dancing to their music. They played a wide variety of music too! We had a special song request for our party and they even went all out to find the music score and practice it beforehand so that they could play it during the party! I am very thankful to them for that! Best Band ever!

I saw Swing Assembly two times at the Aurora (Payton’s) Roundhouse. The band is very entertaining, playing a variety of swing/big band, R&B, blues, classic rock, disco and funk. It’s a good fusion of a traditional rock band (guitar, bass, drum, keyboards) with a horn/sax section. Both times the band had the same male and female vocalist who rotated songs, but they also had some guest vocalists who did a few songs. The band is very tight, playing some great solos and instrumental numbers. The male and female vocalist were very good, too. The rotation between the male and female vocalist added nice variety to the sets. I was thoroughly entertained both times I saw Swing Assembly, and the band seemed to be enjoying themselves, too.
